For the past 4 years of my life, I've spent much of my time researching and learning how to live a healthier lifestyle. I've tried different diets, done different workouts plans, tested tips and tricks, read articles and books, etc. You might think I've mastered a lot in such a long period of time, but the reality is that over these last four years I've actually failed quite a few times. I've given up on one-too-many diets and left workouts unfinished. Many of the tips and tricks I've tried haven't worked. Some of the things I've read have produced no results. I've been burnt out and lazy. I've been too obsessed with my body image, and the list goes on. However, failing a lot means learning a lot. In the process of finding what doesn't work for me, I've also discovered what does work. These last years have been filled with trial and error, but I'm stronger and healthier than I've ever been. If I would've quit, I wouldn't be as committed and passionate as I am. I have sense discovered a love for fitness that ultimately led me to earning my personal trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I want to use my knowledge and experience to teach you how to become fit + healthy too!

I know it's hard. There are so many excuses that we can make about exercising and eating right.

"I don't have enough time in my day."

"I don't have enough money to eat healthy."

"I've tried it before and failed."

"I don't know where to start."

"I don't know how to use all of the machines in the gym."

"People are going to judge me in the gym."

"I'll just never be able to do it."

If you've ever wanted to get healthy, I'm sure you've had at least one of these thoughts before. How do I know that? Because I've thought each of those things more than once! However, I've dedicated my time to learning and growing and have conquered each and every single one of those things. If you make time and put in the effort to grow yourself, so can you! I promise you'll feel better. And you'll look better too! This is why I've started KenzieMFitness. I want to give you the right tools to overcome your excuses, grow those muscles, feed your body, and feel your best. I create posts on fitness tips, nutrition suggestions, workouts, and offer customized training plans that fit your needs and goals. I do most of the work for you. All you have to do is follow the plan!

As a college student with food sensitivities, I can provide all sorts of options that fit your needs. I grocery shop on a very tight budget, cook in a dorm room, and eat in a cafeteria. I'm gluten and soy intolerant, and have no problem adapting meals to meet this sensitivity. I have a busy schedule with classes and jobs, but I can create workouts that maximize your time.
