Winter Trail Mix Recipe


Most trail mixes are full of added sugars and oils. I’m addicted to trail mix, but I wanted something that didn’t have all the additives. Then it dawned on me, “I can make my own!” I put together the easiest recipe for the perfect sweet + salty winter combo. Here it is!


  • 1 c cashews (raw or dry roasted)

  • 1 c almonds (raw or dry roasted)

  • 1/2 c pecans (raw or dry roasted)

  • 1/2 c macadamia nuts (raw or dry roasted)

  • 1/4 c unsweetened golden raisins

  • 1/4 c unsweetened raisins

  • 1 /3 c unsweetened dehydrated apple rings, chopped

  • 2 Tbs stevia

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice


  1. Combine all ingredients and put into a crockpot

  2. Turn crockpot to “high” and let it sit for 2 hours, stirring occasional

  3. That’s it! Enjoy!
