Winter Trail Mix Recipe
Most trail mixes are full of added sugars and oils. I’m addicted to trail mix, but I wanted something that didn’t have all the additives. Then it dawned on me, “I can make my own!” I put together the easiest recipe for the perfect sweet + salty winter combo. Here it is!
1 c cashews (raw or dry roasted)
1 c almonds (raw or dry roasted)
1/2 c pecans (raw or dry roasted)
1/2 c macadamia nuts (raw or dry roasted)
1/4 c unsweetened golden raisins
1/4 c unsweetened raisins
1 /3 c unsweetened dehydrated apple rings, chopped
2 Tbs stevia
1 tsp salt
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Combine all ingredients and put into a crockpot
Turn crockpot to “high” and let it sit for 2 hours, stirring occasional
