Kenzie's 4 Ingredient Chocolate PB Energy Ball Recipe

You can find recipes for these things all over pinterest and the internet, but mine is a little different! Most have a lot more peanut butter, sweetener, sugar, etc. They’re almost like cookies! I played around with the recipe for the perfect amount of nut butter, honey, and chocolate so that it’s still sweet, but not enough to have too much sugar to the point where it’s basically a dessert. Try not to eat the whole batch when you’re done!


  • 1/4 c natural peanut butter (Check for added sugars and oils! Read my post here on what might be hiding in your go-to peanut butter.)

  • 1/4 c honey

  • 1 c old fashioned oats

  • 2 Tbs dark chocolate chips (I love the Nestle Simply Delicious brand because there’s only three ingredients and they’re free of all major allergens! I buy mine at Walmart.)


  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Scoop out the dough with a tablespoon and roll into balls.

  3. Place in fridge for 60 minutes to let them sit and allow the oats to soften.

  4. That’s it! Enjoy!

    **I prefer to keep mine in a container in the fridge. They keep longer and taste better that way
